September 2024 – Present: Peer Assisted Learning (PAL) Student Tutor at the University of Sussex

Co-lead weekly Game Development workshops, teaching students how to create games using Unity. Responsible for organising and planning sessions to cater to all experience levels—from beginners to advanced—while ensuring content is both engaging and appropriately challenging.

• Provide tutoring during multiple weekly drop-in sessions, assisting students with questions on modules I have completed.

• Enhanced time-management skills by balancing studies with tutoring, workshop preparation, and meetings.

• Developed strong communication and leadership skills while working effectively within a small team to deliver engaging, student-centred learning experiences.

March 2020 – Present: Social Media Manager & Marketing Content Creator

Part-time at Bolognesely, Sovereign Hands and The Stop Eastbourne

• Led the creation of brand identity for three businesses, designing logos, banners and other brand content from scratch to align with each business’ unique style.

• Made several iterations of restaurant menus, starting from scratch, to ensure optimal customer experience.

• Developed two professional websites using WordPress and various hosting providers to enhance the businesses’ online presence.

• Used Photoshop and Filmora to make impactful ads for the business, including video ads and physical flyers for distribution.

• In charge of the social media, including daily posting with unique visuals and engaging text across multiple platforms. Used a suite of social media management tools to locally promote the restaurant.

Additional Skills & Achievements

• Achieved 1st place out of 86 teams in the Global Design Challenge, hosted by Engineers without Borders, where I worked in a team to design a real-life solution to a social problem in a village in Cambodia. Improved application of academic knowledge to real-world challenges.

• Qualified as one of the top 36 teams in the prestigious Engineering For People Grand Finals 2024. Presented our proposed solution to a panel of judges and peers, demonstrating effective communication and presentation skills.

• Actively participated in HackSussex’s Hackathon 2024, collaborating as a team of three to develop a productivity app using Figma and Flutter, thus improving my ability to work under pressure.

Currently developing a farming game in Unity, using C#, in my own time. Proactively planning a Steam release in the coming months, reflecting my initiative and dedication to my personal game development projects.

• During my first year, I regularly attended biweekly workshops organised by the Game Development Society to stay updated on the latest concepts and techniques in the industry.
